Destiny
This song was written during a time in my life in which my emotions were totally confused. I knew there was happier life for me somewhere I just was not exactly sure where and with who. Soon after I ran into a long lost love of my past, a high school sweetheart. Stephanie Purple. We fell in love all over and that tells it all. She is my wife of almost 11 years now. When I wrote the song I said "because next to me I can’t see you". At that time I had no clue who that someone was. I soon found out it was Stephanie. We are soul mates for life for sure.

Lyrics to Destiny Destiny
by: Michael Bryson
It’s three am in the morinin
My hands are on a worn out wheel
Another time and another place
Strugglin up one more hill
Drivin down this lonesome hiway
In my ole faithful car
Lookin in the rearview mirror
I can see way too far
Chorus:
Destiny’s a one way ticket that you got (get)
When you made (make) the turn
(And)It’s startin at the entrance to the road
Destiny’s a one way ticket that you got (get)
When you made (make) the turn
(And) there aint no turnin back when you’re
carrying the load
Not a place to pull over
To rest my weary eyes
There aint no friendly exit
For the binds to untie
The roads been real bumpy
And it needs fixin too
It’s lonely in the seat
Cause next to me I can’t see you
Chorus:
Destiny’s a one way ticket that you got (get)
When you made (make) the turn
(And)It’s startin at the entrance to the road
Destiny’s a one way ticket that you got (get)
When you made (make) the turn
(And) there aint no turnin back when you’re
carrying the load
Chorus:
Destiny’s a one way ticket that you got (get)
When you made (make) the turn
(And)It’s startin at the entrance to the road
Destiny’s a one way ticket that you got (get)
When you made (make) the turn
(And) there aint no turnin back when you’re
carrying the load
